After teaching Family & Consumer Science (Home Ec) for a few years, I decided it was time for a change! After moving to Sheridan, Wyoming from Amarillo, Texas, I taught ProStart®, which is a National Restaurant Association Food Service program, and really loved preparing and serving food for people to enjoy. When my family relocated to Colorado, I took the opportunity to attend culinary school. In May of 2005, I graduated from Johnson & Wales University. After doing my internship in the Roaring Fork Valley near Aspen, Colorado, I began working at a local hotel. At that time, Jay (my husband) and I began thinking about what would be fun to do in the Food Science Industry, and decided having a mobile kitchen would be great, as it would allow us to travel anywhere to prepare a meal or meals for events.
Our kitchen is a converted camping trailer (called a toy-hauler) originally built to haul four-wheelers around. With the ability to handle additional weight, it is perfect to handle MY toys, that include a smoker, four-burner range, convection oven, freezer, two coolers and a warmer-proofer. We also have a large grill that we can roll out to prepare your steaks or burgers “just like you want ‘em!” We are able to travel anywhere and cater your event. Events can include, but are not limited to:
-Weddings: Indoors and Outdoors
-Family reunions in the mountains
-Going to ranches for cattle roundup or sales
-Setting up near oil rigs to feed crews
-Staying in the orchards to process tree ripe fruit
-Natural disaster recovery aid
-Sports tailgates parties
We are currently based in Oklahoma but licensed in Colorado, Kansas and Oklahoma. Give us a call!
We would love to come your way and prepare meals for you and your guests!
Sincerely, Coleen Bradley
